This class will focus on sculpting a head/face for a natural-fiber art doll, using a needle-felting technique, and covering it with skin fabric. It will only provide the instruction on how to make the head, so you will need to complete the doll on your own (the body pattern with the instructions will be provided).
We will be working on the head of a 32 cm. doll. You will learn how to:

create a firm head that will endure for years without loosing its shape,

achieve a harmonious, more realistic look without exaggerating the face features,

cover the head with skin fabric without wrinkles
Where and when will the class take place?
This class will be held in Paris, France on December 7th.
It will run from 10 am to about 6 pm.
How much does the class cost and what is included?
The price for the class is $360 US ($60 nonrefundable deposit to book a seat in the class and $300 paid by November 20th). It includes: wool, a piece of stockinette, strong sculpting thread, and a body pattern with instructions.
You will be requested to bring felting needles and a piece of skin fabric to cover the doll's head in the color of your choice.
Refund policy:
The deposit of $60 is non-refundable regardless of the circumstances. However, if I, the teacher, have to cancel the workshop, your payment will be refunded in full.
